The rates listed are variable. Discounts are sometimes given for especially well-behaved pets just as very difficult pets may incur additional charges (usually $5 per day).
*A deposit of 25% or your estimated total is required on reservations over $150 and/or those booked for holiday weekends and the weeks of Thanksgiving and New Years. When you reserve a date, I turn other clients down if they ask for your same dates. To encourage my clients to give advanced notice of cancellations, the deposit is only refundable in the case of an emergency.
Dogs:
1-2: $30 per night + $10 if I leave before dinner (the next day) ($20 if I feed dinner*)
3: $35 per night +$10 if I leave before dinner ($20 if I feed dinner*)
4 or more: $10 per dog per night + $20 if I leave before dinner ($30 if I feed dinner*)
Special fees can be negotiated for extended reservations if needed.
*The extra charge is not for the act of feeding. Using "dinner time" instead of a specific time allows for more flexibility on your return time. If I feed your dog/s dinner, he/she will be provided time to go potty afterwards, especially if you will not be returning for several hours after I leave.
Additional services available for dogs:
Walks- If your dog does not require walks to relieve his or herself, you can purchase walks for $5 per day. If you do not have a fenced in area where your dog can potty, I will not charge extra for walks. Your dog must be well behaved on a leash to qualify for this service.
Baths- I must be able to bathe your dog in your house, and he/she can't be too crazy! I'll provide the shampoo if needed. Baths are $10 per dog. Brushing included.
Drop-in Service- If you know in advance that you will be gone all day, I can come by and feed, let out, and/or exercise your dog/s. This is not offered as a daily service, and is available only a limited basis.
Cats:
Since cats are more independent than dogs and do not need to be let outside to go potty, you can arrange for drop-in services as opposed to live-in services. If you would like me to stay the night with your cats, the prices are the same as those listed for dogs. Drop-in service prices vary depending on the number of visits you want, not the number of cats. The length of the visit is up to you because all pets are different. If your cat is very shy and is easily stressed by visitors, you may want to arrange for a short visit whereas a more social cat may enjoy some play time. Visits can last up to an hour.
1 visit per day: $15 (ideal for cats that free feed)
2 visits per day: $20 (ideal for cats that need to be fed breakfast and dinner)
If you would like me to visit your cat more than twice a day, you may want to consider the live-in service as the charges are the same.
If you have dogs as well as cats, your bill will be totaled for the number of dogs with a $5 fee per day added for the cats (regardless of number).
For example, if you are going away for two nights and have 2 dogs and one cat and are returning before dinner on the third day, your bill would look like this:
2 dogs @ $30 X (times) 2 nights= $60
+ $10 for half day= $10
+cat/s @ $5 X 2 nights= $10 Total= $80
Other Critters:
If you are already using my services for a dog or cat, I will also take care of your other little critters. If you do not have a dog or cat but would like me to take care of your pocket pet, arrangements may be made if you live close enough to me. I will only handle your critters if they are friendly and used to be handled by strangers.
Additional fees if using live-in service for dogs and/or cats:
1-4 critters: $5
5-8 critters: $10
Drop-in service:
1-4 critters: $15 for one visit
5-8 critters: $30 for one visit
Live-in service is not available for critters by themselves.
If you will be gone for an extended period of time and need the cage to be cleaned, a $5 fee will be added. You must provide bedding and trash bags.
